Avenel

Avenel is a very active place for spirit activity. Some discussion has even brought up the strong possibility as having a portal there for spirits to move in and out. My first investigation there was wonderful, and full of excitement. Louis, and I experienced the light fixture moving in clockwise to counter clockwise motion when questions where asked. We all smelt the aroma of cigar smoke in the front entrance to the home. Louis heard a laugh in the bathroom off of the pink room. Louis, and myself experienced a flash of light in the Lee room where the portal is believed to be. Everyone feels the ominous feeling on the outside balcony leading to the attic. The house itself is extremely cold, even with the heat on. There are tons of EVP's recorded at every investigation, and people even feel sick from investigating the place. Voices have been heard numerous times, as well as crashing sounds reported by the caretaker herself. Everyone has had some type of personal experience here, so list anything that happened to you that is not already here.

We were able to follow a sweet powdery perfume smelled that was not there prior to sitting in the pink room. Diane and Mandy and I all were able to follow this. Michael ,the skeptic, after multiple attempts to debunk it , had to admit it was paranormal. We obtained elevated EMF readings on two different meters simultaneously to validate the findings. Subsequent EVPs were found along with photographic anomalies. We had a wonderful and validating experience. What a great learning experience we all had.Louis and Shasta,Michael,Diane,Mandy and I all shared this enlightening investigation.

I forgot to mention, Michael and I both felt Ill the next day. It felt like a hang-over. Headache, nausea,and no energy. I wonder if the entity could sap our energy to use as her own source of energy for purposes of communication. It was a very odd feeling the next day, but was better by the day after. Neither Michael nor I brought it up at first, thenwhen we compared notes we felt that it had to be from Avenel. Anyone else feel bad the next day?

Yes Patricia, I also felt very drained the next day. Some of it due to being up late as I had excess energy when I got home and it took a long time to go to sleep, but I believe also some energy drainage was from the energy taken from us for the manifestation of the amazing perfume smell. That spirit truly found a way to communicate with us, especially as women we would recognize that was not a scent of our time period.

The manifestation lasted a long time. With all of us in the room, the entity(ies) could draw energy from us as well as the heating and the electrical devices we all carried in the room (thus the cold spots and increasing cold in the room as time went on). That kind of energy drain can only come from spirit entities. I am sure that there were more spirits than the lady and powdery smell. If you remember, Shasta caught the images of a little boy under the sofa as well as a lady standing next to her. That takes a lot of energy on the spirits part as well as other spirits in the house. WELL DONE EVERYBODY!

I almost forgot that Patricia and I were in the morning room in the first part of the investigation and the ceiling light fixture was constantly moving. We commented that perhaps people above us were walking over the fixture making it move. So we did also experience what had been experienced earlier by others. Made me wish I had a video camera to record it.
