1. Always respect a request for confidentiality whether for a person or a location.

2. Never enter a location without permission. Doing so can be considered breaking and entering or trespassing and could be criminally prosecuted

3. If a witness declines to cooperate, always withdraw politely.

4. Always maintain a polite and professional relationship with a witness.

5. Always get permission in writing before entering a location.

6. Keep an open mind!!!
