Eastern State

Hello All:
I wanted to get with you guys to get a final count on who to expect on our trip to Eastern State. I also wanted to find out about transportation / directions, etc. As you know, some are going to be going via Amtrak, others will be driving from various locations. If anyone needs a ride, or wants to carpool , please contact one of the organizers ASAP to pair you up. I would also like to know how many are planning the train so we can be sure to all be on the same one. You can contact Tom on that regard, as he has the train time and pricing info, at joemack@comcast.net.

If you require directions or an address for gps they are both available online at there website as well as much history on the place and virtual tours. Remember my info on membership pricing and if you need that repeated , i would be happy to give it to you as well. What ever means of travel, we plan to meet at the front gate at noon, thus giving us 5 hours to tour. From York, it takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get there. I would be glad to form a caravan if needed as well. Just let me know ASAp how many, any requests, and how you plan to travel.

It should be a wonderful day, bring lots of batteries, film,recorders, I am sure it will be a place you will never forget. As a reminder, tripods are not allowed there without either a tripod pass, which costs 10/pp or a membership entitles you to a free tripod pass. Me and my Fiance want to come badly but I would need to carpool with someone as Im out of a car this weekend. I would rather car pool than take a train since im not faimlier with taking trains. Im in Hershey if anyone would be able to let me carpool with them please let me know.
